RCR/EOP Energy Optimizer
Made entirely of 316 stainless steel, the heat exchanger has a central heat exchanging element continuously kept under rotation by a small motor.
This product follows the original design of POZZI rotating exchangers, briniging very definite advantages, especially when used with very polluted effluents.
The RCR/EOP rotating action creates the necessary turbulence to enhance heat transfer; this also prevents the build up of deposits from dirty effluents.
Turbulence due to the rotation creates a centrifugal separation effect, which keeps contaminants away from the exchanger surfaces.
Thus, maintenance for cleaning is practically non-existent.
The design of a perfect heat recovery system has to address three important areas:
- the ability of the heat exchanger to handle contaminated liquids;
- the reduction (if not elimination) of all maintenance costs ;
- the matching of the heat source with the heat sink characteristics of the served machinery.
Pozzi Leopoldo S.r.l. has designed and built a self-cleaning heat exchange unit, which has become the most successful model of its kind over the last decades.
